Inky, impatient, and left of you. I write books which can be purchased or borrowed from libraries. If you'd care to buy one for your weirdest friend, I’d appreciate it.

Still a bit swollen because I just had it done. Please make note of font in case they photoshop “antifa” on it in comic sans or whatever
An AI just emailed me praising one of my books in a mish-mosh of language from various reviews and offering me a "free visibility audit"

This book is so funny and readable. I used it as the main text in my AI literacy class, and even though it predates the LLM horror-madness, it provided all the foundation we needed to really dig in. Great deal!
The You Look Like a Thing and I Love You ebook is on sale for $2.99 at most US ebook places!

Here’s how to use them:

I will never forgive any of these ghouls. I will carry this burning grief and rage to my grave with the hope that my disparate electrons find ways to make everything they care about worse.

This is not an evidenced-based claim. This is a curse.
The CDC just updated its website saying "Scientific studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines contribute to the development of autism." Adds "this statement has historically been disseminated by the CDC and other federal health agencies within HHS to prevent vaccine hesitancy."

Periodic reminder that direct action is a fundamental form of protest.

It is the original form of protest.

To refuse to accept the status quo, to intervene in an effort to shift power from the oppressor to the oppressed is protest.

Allllllll of these people have “fck off & go buy an island” money—or at least “fck off & go live on an island” money—but instead they are busy dismantling the department of education & withholding lunch money from needy children.

That is some sinister villain shit & it needs to be talked about more

It feels important to acknowledge that this is a really shitty couple few days for people with C-PTSD. Inside me, there's a homunculus screaming:

1. They never come take the monsters away
2. Now the villagers are against you too
3. The monsters will continue to fail up

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino "also revered Starship Troopers, Robert Heinlein's 1959 military sci-fi classic about an interstellar war between humans and alien bugs - a book his sister says he still reads to this day."
An endless amount of deranged details in this interview with Greg Bovino's sister, but most notably that his uncle produced the Jack Nicholson movie The Border and the depiction of the agent as corrupt radicalized him as a 12-yr-old.

"Since then, he was like, 'Dude, I want to do Border Patrol.'"

I do not believe in hell, karma, or the carceral state. But I do believe in slapstick, so I am left with the wish that many anvils, safes, and pianos fall out of many windows. This is all I want now.

Universities spend gazillions on EdTech software that doesn’t serve faculty or student interests and often doesn’t work well. But what if we got off that path and leveraged internal resources to produce non-profit systems? Here’s a proposal to leverage the CUNY systems platforms.
"Christopher Newfield called for academics to 'seize the means of knowledge production' by working 'step by step ... toward direct control of universities.' ... I think the most imperative, but also the most apparent pressure point for academics looking to act upon his call is education technology."
