Her embrace of Liz Cheney and support for the Gaza genocide were catastrophic to the effort to convince them otherwise.
People I know in Pennsylvania who volunteered for Harris said the biggest reason why young men didn't want to vote for Harris was that they believed she would send them to war.
I’m thinking this morning about all the people I spoke to last year who were absolutely convinced, and tried to convince me, that Trump would be antiwar compared to Biden and Harris.

In the past week alone he has attacked Nigeria and then Venezuela and also threatened to attack Iran (again).

Compare this to the mealy-mouthed nonsense from Jeffries & Schumer. Van Hollen for Senate Leader.
Trump and his cronies can try to dress this up, but it is an illegal act of war to replace Maduro and grab Venezuela's oil for his billionaire buddies.

Fitting that she kissed his arse and begged him to kill her fellow citizens only to get dumped immediately.
Trump on María Corina Machado: "I think it'd be very tough for her to be the leader. She doesn't have the support or the respect within the country. She's a very nice woman but she doesn't have the respect."

“We respect you, you poor benighted dumbass” is the worst attempt at pseudopopulism I’ve ever seen.
This isn't about democratizing the news. It's about elevating "vibes" and "feelings" to be on par with lived experience and subject-matter expertise.

Kelly Ayotte ran ads in Times Square encouraging companies to move to NH after he won the primary. Like they’re gonna trade midtown Manhattan for Nashua, lmao. The delusion is strong.
Mamdani being sworn in as mayor of NYC is causing all of the worst people to melt down in the funniest ways.

(Or it would be funny if they weren’t all so powerful or influential in the current political environment—but it’s still kind of funny, even so.)

Any democrat lacking this energy in 2026 and 2028 needs to retire immediately.
Mayor Mamdani has nullified every executive order issued by Eric Adams after he struck his corrupt bargain with Trump to secure dismissal of the indictment against him.

Two years into the genocide and there’s still no bottom.
Israel says it will suspend several humanitarian groups, including Doctors Without Borders, in 2026 for failing its new vetting rules for groups working in Gaza. Some international organizations have said that Israel’s rules are arbitrary and could endanger staff.

We talk about the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh, Rep. Auchincloss's AIPAC-sponsored trip to Israel 6 weeks later, and his silence and complicity.

Mayor Wu and mayors of surrounding towns need to look at beefing up security at daycare centers before once of these whackjobs goes after kids.
Trump guys are about to Comet Pizza every third daycare center because they think they are all fronts for Somali money laundering. They're only doing this near cities with progressive mayors. This is straight up Government by LibsOfTikTok.

The cowardice of academia in this era has been something to behold.
On this Christmas Day, Israeli press reports that Georgetown has cut ties with Franceska Albanese after a campaign by a pro-Apartheid, pro-Genocide org specializing in canceling critics of Israel.

They can't win a single argument, so they rely on silencing people.

is there anybody even denying that the pardons are paid for or do we just kind of all accept this now?
