comics is labour so subject to issues of labour, taking yourself seriously is underrated, any story can be good, things seem to work out best when genre is less a setting/collection of memetic tropes but instead the poetry by which emotional, otherwise unexpressable experiences are represented

censorship produces the most grotesque and disturbing caricatures of reality. i can't speak for everyone but i get sick to my stomach every time people self-censor words like rape and assault (online and irl). it's a gut punch every time to be reminded that everyone Knows but no one Talks

Acting like fictional creations can or cannot give consent waters down the actual concept of consent. Prescribing rules or governance about fictional consent isn't a solution, it's a part of the PROBLEM
