The moment that they finish with undocumented immigrants and trans people, they will turn their full attention to legal immigrants, green card holders, and gay people (and they are doing this right now).

Same for gay people, black people, women etc. You cannot give them an inch.

Also, the right is not going to stop at undocumented immigrants and trans people. Part of the merit of fighting so hard for the “softer” far right targets is that it ALSO keeps the right from going after those who aren’t on their list now.

I think that Democrats winning more elections would be extremely beneficial on net for all the relevant groups, even if what it took to get there was some moderation on specific positions.
