That Muppets Knives Out film Rian Johnson claims he turned down.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Arguing with JD Vance feels like taking the bait but still:

1. Per capita GDP is not a measure of "standard of living"
2. US GDP/capita is highly skewed by the outlier ultra-wealthy 0.01% class
3. Canadians, as a median, earn more money, work fewer hours, and live longer than Americans
JD Vance shares some opinions on Canada:

maybe the best part about the Leafs collapse is they've played 15 of their 21 games so far at home.

They're on an 82 point pace at the quarter mark and 35 of their remaining 61 games are on the road, where so far they're 1-5 with losses to: Detroit, Buffalo, Columbus, Boston, and Chicago.

It’s not just OpenAI that looks overhyped. There’s a whole mountain of sketchy financial engineering underneath.

At the bottom of this article are 3 promoted stories for different "staff picks" betting tip articles.

Everybody seems to understand that sports gambling is bad but nobody appears willing to stop taking their money.

You mean the guy with "close ties" to Opus Dei (the right wing, conservative, traditionalist Catholic sect that's been accused of operating like a cult & is now subject to mandated reforms by the Papacy) defended [arguably] the country's most prominent anti-semite?

I'm shocked.
Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, faced blowback after defending Tucker Carlson's interview with a white nationalist. He later apologized and said he erred out of ignorance, because he did not keep up with the news and had simply read an aide’s script.

QANON CULTIST IN 2017: "In this 1,879 page thread I will unravel the byzantine system of codewords and phrases the global elite use to mask their pedophile cabal."

JEFFREY EPSTEIN WRITING AN EMAIL AT THE SAME TIME: "helo its me jeff had fun cmmitting sex crimes wit u lst weeknd"
pretty funny in retrospect that QAnon hinged on the idea that powerful elites at the highest levels of government were smart enough to talk in code when sending emails to each other about their despicable crimes

There is one defensible path forward for the Leafs at this point, and that's to rebuild.

Really hard to imagine what a city dweller would do with a truck this big. The bed of the truck is fully over the hood of my vehicle. I drive a Highlander by the way. Not exactly small.

A family member recently decided to end her life via medically-assisted suicide. She suffered from terminal brain cancer for the last several years, and I really appreciate she was able to go out on her own terms rather than let the cancer take more of herself.
