One of the most egregious errors of common gender theorizing today is how it disregards war and the military as patriarchal forces. This is because the people doing the theorizing are not conscripted ofc, even as those that are are utilized by the capitalism they are a part of.

The thing about being a transmasc who came out as an adult and got a hysterectomy is that it becomes enormously obvious how many people saw my person and worth as solely for carrying pregnancies and having children, and immediately saw zero value in me once I could no longer be used for reproduction

Focusing on what truly benefits kids, with their input, would save us all. I wish that, collectively, we desired a free future for children more than we desired the power to harm or control another adult.
