Living in Arizona and being doomed to six more weeks of winter
Raced a huge blue heron up my street on the way to work this morning. He was flying parallel to my car along the canal for a few blocks. I beat him to the light then he flew low over the hood of my car and towards the other side of the canal. Felt like a blessing idk 😌

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

So love wobbegongs. Everything is good about the wobbegong. Its name. Its flattened Oscar the Grouch face. Its frondy bits. Its lazy life as a hungry rug. And it’s a shark. Outstanding animal 10/10
The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

We had to let my sweet Dinah go this morning. She had a tumor that finally started significantly impacting her quality of life. She went to sleep in my arms and now she's gone.
I'll miss her so much. She hung out with me for 15 years, but it wasn't enough.
