Before every meeting or even phone call with Zelinskyy, Trump first calls Putin. That should tell you something.

It is a strictly one-way street since he never calls Zelinskyy, EU leaders, or anyone else before talking with Putin.

Clearly, Putin's approval matters to him.

It's surprising how much I enjoy a character as personally revolting as Gary Oldman's portrayal of Jake Lamb in #slowhorses. He's so awful, but you can't look away.

It's not just the American far right that takes its marching orders from Moscow:

America, there's something you should know.

The top three kinds of books that young people (under 25) offer to sell me on Dec. 26 are:

- "Chicken Soup for the _____"

- "Oh, the Places You'll Go"

- Books of New Yorker cartoons

I'm just saying. Keep it in mind for graduations and birthdays, too.

This candidate could have gone a couple ways with the quote-post here. The path she took says a lot about why I think she deserves to win.
🧵 Our mutual aid hub has been a HUGE draw for our immense volunteer base, many of whom have never wanted to be involved politics before now.

This model isn’t just about the immediate impacts: It’s about showing our values, building a community, and reaching voters — without selling our soul!
Turning campaigns into mutual aid hubs isn’t good for campaigns or mutual aid! Your campaign manager should be entirely too busy to schlep around 5600 tampons!

Annoyed with @bookshop.org - an organization I'd really like to like for what they do. Someone sent me a gift card from them which I appreciate as it wasn't BN or Amazon but can't use it to buy e-books, which... hell, I don't even use a reading lamp anymore. I guess it's somewhere in the garage?

I randomly got curious to see what the CBS News website had to say about 60 Minutes. In the most unsurprising news the censors only managed to half-ass things. Evil hindered by its own incompetence. That's 2025 in America for ya.

If your friends, family or loved ones are serving in the United States military, send good thoughts their way. Not only are they the living tip of the spear, they're at the tip of the whip, driven into conflict by a profoundly stupid and evil man.
