The economy couldn’t be better for the wealthy & well-connected—and Epstein-class billionaire donors are making more than ever.

But most of us are struggling to pay for groceries, rent, and healthcare. Thanks to this rigged economy, we’re getting screwed.
Don’t Let Trump Fool You. The Economy Is Bad, and He Is to Blame.
The Trump administration’s efforts to distract from the bad economy just divert attention from one dumpster fire to another.

Grocery prices in Chicago have climbed double digits in the last year despite Trump's vow to lower them
The Sun-Times has been checking the prices of 35 common grocery items at four Chicago stores for the last year, and most items haven't become cheaper.

Another data point to call BS on the January jobs number. Its going to come out that Trump cooked the books
Every year the BLS does a benchmark revision which incorporates new and more detailed information. This year's revision suggests that 2025 was a far worse year than earlier estimates suggested, and total job growth was less than half that suggested by the initial estimates.

(AXIOS) - Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) told Axios in an interview Tuesday that, when he searched President Trump's name in the unredacted Epstein files the previous day, it came up "more than a million times."

there has been a repeated and calculated effort to not only go after Black activists and journalists but also to go to extreme lengths to try to rob them of their dignity and create racialized propaganda. this is vile, vicious stuff and it needs to be called out directly
Civil rights lawyer Nekima Levy Armstrong's latest brief reveals the backstory of her arrest in a footnote. Feds refused to let her self-surrender, taped her arrest at a hotel, and broke a promise not to post it on social media, she says.

The White House then digitally altered it to smear her.

The underlying dynamic is that for Jeff Bezos and the other media oligarchs, their news business is a tiny fraction of their overall business holdings and they are willing to sacrifice it to appease Trump. They resisted in term one; this time, they capitulated. www.mediamatters.org/cbs/year-med...

In a legitimate criminal cases, political appointees don't have to first hollow out U.S. Attorney offices of objecting career prosecutors with integrity; federal judges don't kill the cases at the cradle, and the government doesn't fight tooth and nail to revive them.
