“Your property taxes are higher than they should be because commissioners on the Cook County Board of Review keep handing out massive tax breaks to corporations, which shifts their tax burden onto homeowners like you.”

Cook County Board of Review bears a lot of blame for your home's property tax increase
When the board gives hefty tax breaks to corporations, it shifts the tax burden onto homeowners.

Q: At the end of this year, those extended Obamacare subsidies expire. What's your message to those 24m Americans who will see their premiums go up?

TRUMP: Don't make it sound so bad. Obviously you're a sycophant for Democrats. You're obviously a provider of bad news for Republicans.

He can't help himself; his sycophants are powerless to stop him, and I want more, more of these daily train wrecks

Republicans gave $132 billion in tax breaks to the top 1% in 2027.

With that money, we could have extended ACA tax credits for over 20 million people next year and still have $100 billion left over.

One of the most gripping moments I've ever seen in a congressional hearing.
Magaziner: How many US military veterans have you deported?

Noem: We have not deported military veterans.

Magaziner: We are joined on zoom by a gentleman who is an army combat veteran who was shot twice while serving our country. You deported him to Korea.

Trump’s economy is buckling, and the excuses aren’t landing. PA residents say groceries, health care, and prescriptions are “down the tubes.” Farmers call his bailouts a band-aid on a wound he caused. With $44B tariff losses and shrinking manufacturing, even GOP voters are sounding the alarm.

The six activist judges on SCOTUS see the demographic wave about to push Whites into the minority (by 2045), and are trying (too late) to reverse the inevitable.
Good headline. Less than a decade ago the Chief wrote in Rucho that ``[e]xcessive partisanship in districting leads to results that reasonably seem unjust'' and that ``such gerrymandering is incompatible with democratic principles.''

We now know just how little he meant it. They love this.

Zero tolerance for doomerism. Stop lazily accepting that everything is screwed forever. Stop normalising low expectations. That’s part of the problem & it’s what the bastards want. It’s also a product of privilege. People in more desperate situations don’t have the option to just sit back & shrug.

Famously, in tabloid journalism, three is a trend and I can now definitively declare that MAGA can’t cook. And these are the “foods” they are proud of and want to show off! No wonder they want to rid the country of immigrants and their dangerous seasonings.

'Beginning' is the pivotal word here because all it will take is another Black person winning a Country music award or a non-White Miss America to get her back on the bus
It’s been a difficult weekend for MAGA.

The media continues to run these posts because they generate traffic from the initial lie, traffic from the blowback, traffic from the fact-checking, and then traffic from the polling on whether anyone supports it.
This entire article points out that there is no plan. His own Treasury Secretary says he doesn’t know anything about it. So why does media keep running these kind of headlines? He keeps making these Truth Social posts and media keeps running stories as if it is something real.
