In my life, there has never been a need to “renew” my publicly funded healthcare. Governments are responsible for keeping records and assuring access. This kind of policy is an attack on the most vulnerable among us: homeless, disabled, nursing home residents, poor families, etc. For shame!

I've long been a fan & advocate of CBC News, but the increasing Americanization of 🇨🇦 news network is rivaling the bias of CTV, & this is bad news for publicly-funded & independent news media in 🇨🇦. CBC isn't respecting Canadians & one wonders if their ombudsperson is listening or has been relegated.
