My hottest take is that letting cops park in red zones for mundane errands and coffee breaks; I think “you can break the law at your discretion as a job perk” is the small domino that ends in the large domino of “shooting protesters in the face with rubber bullets”

I gotta plan for what to do when It Happens. Feels like I need to blast happy music from every window of the house for at least 24 hours. Maybe drive back and forth past the one house in my neighborhood with a Trump flag blasting some sort of fuck-you song for at least an hour. Much to consider.
Everyone’s gonna die someday. Trump may die sooner, and when he does, I worry there will be a genuine explosion of violence by people who will be enraged by the celebrations, a deepening of the rift.
