My faith in FCAS and other joint ventures was quite understandably in the toilet as of 2024

Trump has changed that, Europe has gotten a kick in the teeth from the U.S. & I will bet that we will see a successful joint fighter project out of Europe in the next 20 years

Health boss RFK Jr.'s 1-year anniversary week was packed with new disasters and reminders of old ones. But even those who should care most are MIA. GOP senators Bill Cassidy (a doctor) and Mitch McConnell (a polio survivor) top my list. My latest at @thebulwark.com open.substack.com/pub/thebulwa...

The U.S. Olympic hockey team is very dangerous, but it reminds me of those U.S. Olympic basketball teams that had some big names but little chemistry that tended to flame out after the group stage

My point being that the semi game isn’t a slam dunk win by any stretch

Win - win for OU and the Chiefs

DeMarco had some wins as a RB coach at OU, but also some controversy

This is not the worst outcome for an legendary OU player turned coach

I am rooting for him the NFL and hope he succeeds, but I’m also excited about a new direction for the OU running back room

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

The stumble was what allowed for it to catch fire, which is silly in the age of Trump

Alas, the president’s tangents and rambles get interpreted and sane washed while AOCs stumble to retrieve from the ol’ memory bank a preset answer to a thorny issue get mauled as an example of ineptitude
Of all things to criticize AOC about, boilerplate on Taiwan gets people upset?

Sorry tankie leftists, she didn’t say everything bad in the world is America’s fault, and indicated that deterring Chinese imperialism could be good.

Sorry, fake China hawks, she was measured instead of fire-breathing.

Trump has said the same thing in his Trumpian way

At this point you can just jot down that there are unexplained aerial items that can be classified as “aliens” or adversary nation tech & when an ex president says this that is what they are referring to until new data appears

I was so impressed with this story about measles in the Atlantic -- the depth of reporting it would take to weave in all these details so fluidly.

Turns out, it was a work of fiction. She researched the effects of measles, but lots of fiction writers do research. www.niemanlab.org/2026/02/the-...
