They’re also really great bc they reproduce the whole thing, including all the stuff that was more or less lost to history before. You can fully immerse yourself in th picture world of a prewar LES urchin

They are SO great. Just to have em in your hands. Whenever I stop by the LCS I have to buy one. They could have so easily been lazy and removed the period ads, but they didn’t.!!
a genuinely nice thing: DC's terrific "facsimile" newsprint reprints. they *are* occasionally bowdlerized but I absolutely love having a wrinkled New Gods no. 1 on grayish newspaper to thumb through. the colors pop and the story beats are so much clearer

The only prayer OpenAI and maybe the AI industry as a whole have is rapid and consistent customer growth. They need as many Americans to use this technology as possible. It needs to transcend political and cultural boundaries. In other words — keep at it, chief!
