I’m like halfway through Age of Imprisonment (I think…?) and so far this game is treating Mineru, my absolute favourite, SO well! I hope this dev team gets everything they want in life! And also Heather Gonzalez, because her performance has been nothing but absolutely perfect this entire time

piss terrorist is honestly the funniest thing I’ve heard in a damn while and yeah, some cats Do Be Like That and that was my old flatmate’s cat. He did it out of spite. Nothing wrong with him, litter trays were always clean, he just did it to be a petty little shit

Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.

I had a taxi driver back in May rant and rave about the length of tween/teen girls’ school skirts and how he felt so strongly about it that he went into their schools to complain about it. He did not like it when I told him that it was inappropriate for adult men to stare at a wee girl’s skirt 🙃
We can be quite a susceptible bunch in the UK, though. I recently had a cab driver who went on a talk radio-fuelled rant about teachers turning kids trans in schools with drag shows, and then when I asked him how many of his problems in life were caused by drag queens, he said, "ah, none".
Right-wingers who think tactics they've used to criminalize abortion in the US will have the same kind of traction in the UK fail to grasp that religious fundamentalism is widely viewed as nuts in the UK, & has been for many decades, if not centuries.
