If you are watching the Reform Party controlled Councils with their endless mishaps, resignations, fallouts, scandals, mismanagement and sheer comedic idiocy, but still thinking of making these clowns a national government, representing the UK on the global stage, you are literally insane.

Josef Goebbels once said if you want to get a point over keep it simple and repeat it often. I think Boris Johnson, Farage and now Stride must have read the same article. This advice doesn't work on the mildly intelligent

“Make Brexit work” by raising taxes to stem the ongoing losses.
Slavish devotion to failed ideology has a very high price.

"There is no doubt that the impact of Brexit has been severe and long-lasting", Rachel Reeves tells Sky News, as she suggests that taxes will now have to go up as a result to "make sure the numbers add up".

That megapoll is utter nonsense; there is no way Reform UK is going to win 45 seats, never mind 445 seats.

This is utter lies from a party of racists to make you think people want to vote for Reform.

Racist Reform has no good ideas

Labour and Lib Dems are the only choice #fact

Clearly Rob Ford is right here - the Tories aren’t helping themselves by trying to out-Farage Farage - but the same lesson needs to be learned by Labour too. We need to make the positive case for the contribution that immigrants have made - and we shouldn’t be splitting up their families.

This was a lot of fun to do, and with a really engaged audience of students (and future young voters) who asked some great questions.

That £900k house in Frinton. Has anyone mentioned how it was paid for yet? Any laws broken, or all above board?

Anyone investigating? Media grown a conscience? Any journalist working for the British people? Anyone?

Half way through another week of silence then.

Unlike me, you might think we have the correct number of Dukes in the 'UK'. Only several dozen is fine.

How about Lords and Ladies?

There are 3,000 living Knights and Dames in the UK. Gavin Williamson is one.

Some of them erm...don't (or can't) appear in the House of Lords, for certain reasons...

Private equity takeover of US hospitals led to rise in patient deaths.

Cuts to staffing/investment; high debt, profiteering; worse patient outcomes.

More deaths in nursing homes, increased post-operative complications

Why is UK Govt handing the NHS to PE? Why no investigation of the impact of PE?
Private equity takeover of hospitals led to rise in Medicare emergency patient deaths, says study
Study found seven more deaths per 10,000 patients in private equity hospitals’ versus non-private equity hospitals

The problem is not the argument - the impact of Brexit is undeniable and polling show most people see and understand the damage it has done.

The problem is that it's taken so long for this Labour government to even start to make this case.

Fear is very much the mind-killer for Starmer et al

Dear God! You look at the Tory front bench, see Helen Whately, Kemi Badenoch and Priti Patel, and realise that the Tories will be lucky to come 3rd in the next election.
Their 'talent pool' is completely devoid of talent.

Keit Starmer criticises Kemi Badenoch

"I was surprised and saddened that she spent more time attacking what we actually did to help the process, than even mentioning the humanitarian crisis in Gaza"
