Leaving the ECHR suits them though, and their paymasters. It leaves the population without any rights and open to being an eminently exploitable resource for governments and fat-cat employers or corporations.

"...momentum for withdrawal from the ECHR is not matched by popular demand... politicians are proposing to amend Britain’s constitutional order in the name of “the people” while ignoring what...people actually want, undoing constitutional safeguards and democratic institutions in the process."
Do British people want to leave the ECHR? What a decade of polls reveals
In the most recent YouGov poll on this issue, 54% of Conservative voters and 72% of Reform voters were in favour of leaving.

Real change in public expenditures on higher education, 2008 to 2023, selected countries that actually publish the damn data. UK is worst here, but note this does not include RAB (projected future loan forgiveness, basically). If RAB is included...UK would still be last.

Zack Polanski: I went on Question Time, I put to Reform that their former leader in Wales was in the pocket of Putin, taking bribes to make statements in favour of Russia while an MEP, they had no answer, because patriots don’t peddle for Putin. metro.co.uk/2025/10/10/z...
Zack Polanski: I went on Question Time - I was blown away by the response

A quality prevailing in Reform is gross hypocrisy❗️

For years Richard Tice campaigned against Net Zero

But companies led by him since 2011 boast of commitment to saving energy, cutting CO2 emissions & environmental responsibility. One even hired a “full-time sustainability manager”

#ReformHyocrite
Richard Tice has 15-year record of supporting ‘net stupid zero’ initiatives
Firms led by deputy Reform UK leader since 2011 have shown commitment to saving energy and cutting CO2 emissions

Then he played the “being autistic” made me do it card

He’s a spineless, talentless little shit❗️

The whole idea that Oakeshott has any right to comment on British society while living in Dubai is a reflection of the ridiculous state of the right-wing media in the U.K.

I was this number of years old when I discovered that Dubai had a Metro
"Quite often I am the only white person
in the tube carriage!"

Isabel Oakeshott says 'it's not racist
to observe the lack of white people' in
some areas of Britain,

"It certainly tells us something about
how Britain has changed."
