Where is my mind?

Way out in the water. See it swimming.
I’m so looking forward to voting for whoever primaries this useless old hack.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

This is the sort of stuff they're doing knowing full well that they're on camera.

Forgive me if I don't think body cams are going to make much of a difference.
This is, as we know, the problem with "better training and oversight."

It is already a clear violation of DHS/ICE's use of force guidelines to immediately draw and point your firearm at an unarmed person. They know this, and they know the administration will defend their rule-breaking.
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Every performing artist of any note:

"I ain't gonna play Sun City."

Trump:

"SUN CITY IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS SO THERE."
CNN is reporting the real reason Trump is closing the Kennedy Centre for two years is not for renovation: “the Kennedy Center does not have a 2026/2027 season. There would not have been any programming to announce."

Something that might be interesting only to me:

How prominent does a production need to be before racists start scrutinizing the casting decisions?

(Zeus was played by Lance Reddick in the Disney Percy Jackson series and nobody seemed to care...)
The woke scolds are trying to make this about racism. But Musk is right. It's about historical and scientific integrity. When the God of Thunder disguises himself as a swan to seduce and fuck a queen and the resulting baby hatches from an egg, *of course* the baby will be white. It's just science.

We've spent all this time worrying about vast conspiracies and these motherfuckers are openly discussing their pedo ring on Gmail.

It's amazing what people will do when they know there's no chance they'll ever face repercussions.

An entire political movement founded on uncovering hidden messages in documents to discover the powerful secret pedophiles and meanwhile the powerful pedophiles out here sending gmails saying "Hi fellow pedophile when are we meeting to do pedophilia again"
Disgusting.

In an email on Sept. 11, 2013, Mr. Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, wrote to Mr. Epstein, “It was really nice seeing you yesterday.” He added: “Any time you’re in the area would love to see you. As long as you bring your harem!”

But keeping him out of the Hall of Fame cheapens the honor for everyone else there.

It's petty and stupid and they should be ashamed.

How are we defining "the border" for the purposes of this discussion?

I seem to remember a definition that included anyplace within 50 or 75 miles of a seashore or something like that (which, if I'm not mistaken, would cover a pretty substantial portion of the US population.)
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:

I think you could make a pretty solid case that some of the recurring themes of the Potter series -- that the people in charge often can't be trusted to tell the truth or do the right thing -- are more important than ever before.

But I'll be damned if I ever give Rowling another nickel.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

Younger generations “have fallen out of love with Harry Potter because they have fallen out of love with the worldview the series represents,” writes Louise Perry. “Which is to say that young people have fallen out of love with liberalism.”
