Proud dad. Aspiring moment-soaker.

Grateful to professionally brag about progress in clean energy.
I’ve seen solar on schools work first-hand.

It creates virtuous cycles:

💵 Frees up money for programs and teachers

⚡️Enables other energy-saving investments

🏘️ Encourages neighbors to follow suit
Schools spend around $8 billion on energy costs each year – their second-largest cost after salaries. Solar panels can help prevent those costs from rising unpredictably in the years to come. Our latest article has more. frontiergroup.org/articles/u-s...
More schools are going solar. We're all reaping the benefits.
Schools in every state could benefit from considering solar energy projects. “Going solar” creates healthier air and generates financial benefits.

my takeaway from climate week nyc is that "climate storytelling" is a little too much "we must reimagine our deepest souls in relationship to mother nature and the moral abyss of the polycrisis into which we must now stare" and not enough "ok but get a heat pump"

Amazing story. Imagine a world with:

More time for Wordle bc you’re not driving

Less traffic

Cleaner air
❤️❤️❤️ how Iowa City is reducing the cost of living, air pollution, traffic congestion, and people’s stress by making bus rides free.

Would ❤️❤️❤️ to see @wmata.com do the same here in the DMV.

A generational self-own.
For the first time in 30 years, the UN conference on climate change is taking place without top U.S. government representation. China has emerged as the top dog at the summit and is poised to become the world’s supplier of green energy technology.

Listen to "The Daily."
The Future of Energy Has Arrived — Just Not in the U.S.
While China is selling clean energy to the world, America is pushing oil and gas.

Accurate headlines and photos matter.

This is the second time in 2-ish years that solar has been the *cover story* for the economist.
China has made cheap, clean energy available in huge quantities. The world should take the win econ.st/4oqFszB

One of my best friends is Australian and he makes doing good things look really easy.

So this tracks.

Good work, Australia.
Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative
