I think one of my favorite things about getting older is seeing people my age (and even some younger) start to panic about not being cool anymore and I'm just over here enjoying my tea knowing I was never considered cool and made my peace with that a long time ago

Redesign thoughts: I wanted her to not look so drastically different from her human form, so I made the iridescent bits into markings rather than changing her skin color entirely. The only thing that changes when she transforms is her outfit, hair and eye color, and her markings are revealed

I mean sure, I could put my nose to the grindstone and put out 'content' regularly, but when it comes to quantity I can't keep up with AI slop anyway so I might as well have the full human experience of making art that said slop can't replicate

It's frustrating in a way that I don't have a ton to show y'all, given the way the internet rewards constant posting, but I honestly think if I slow down a bit and just enjoy the process of making art it's going to be way more gratifying in the long run.

My self-care and mental health has been my top priority over the past year, and I feel like I'm starting to break out of my creative cocoon again
