What JD Vance really means by this is that Maduro is bound by US laws but Trump is not.

Basically, Barzini, Corleone, it’s all the same to Tessio.
Corporate media doesn’t understand Trump at all.

Why did Trump choose Maduro’s VP to be his proxy in Venezuela over Machado—the champion of the people?

Because Maduro’s VP has already shown she’s willing to be a proxy for a dictator.

Which is what Trump *and* Maduro *both* are.

He’s always aggrieved and whining. How do people not get bored at the very least with the sheer monotony of it?

I think it’s a bold assumption on the part of The Donald J. Trump And The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts to think that contracts with The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts might still be valid.

WHO CAN JUSTIFY HAVING VOTED FOR THIS MONSTER?
NEW: President Trump's first veto of his second term kills a unanimous bill to fund a major drinking water project in Colorado. Trump had threatened punishment for Colorado for imprisoning his ally Tina Peters. www.9news.com/article/news...

You know, a thing that also bothers me about this atrocity is how badly it’s executed. Why would he leave the preexisting ’the’ in front of Kennedy’s name? “The Donald J. Trump And The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts” is grammatically ridiculous. Plus he’s not dead yet.

Honestly I don’t know for a fact that their contracts are valid with the venue name change anyway.
Thank you to Chuck Redd, The Cookers, Doug Varone and Dancers, Rhiannon Giddens, and Kristy Lee for boycotting the Kennedy Center renaming and canceling their performances.

I forgot that Dorney Park appears as Tilted Acres in this! The park has been almost completed done over since 1988, but back then (when it was a local kid) it was super retro. #TCMParty

No shit. That’s a stupid statement. Why would we compare minimum wage to median rent? Show me how minimum wage stacks up against minimum rent and median income to median rent.
Two workers who make Pennsylvania’s minimum wage would each have to work 96 hours per week to afford the area’s median asking rent.
Good luck affording an apartment in Philly if you earn minimum wage

I have been hearing a lot of versions of The 12 Days Of Christmas lately and I’m shocked at how many different sequences there are past the five golden rings. For my part my money’s on what I call “2 birds, 2 broads, 2, dudes, 2 musicians”.

The new facts are damning. But the facts have been damning for ten straight motherfucking years, and the cultists just dig in deeper each time. And nobody with the power to do anything has the courage to do anything. This is what we’ve got. Help ain’t coming.

I really want to love Alpha Flight and I can’t help but root for the concept, but god almighty it was just the most ridiculous bundle of hackneyed Canadian stereotypes. It was as close to the satire/sincere border as any Christopher Guest mockumentary.

I used to voraciously read every book on Trump during his first administration. I had to know: how could America do this to itself? Then we re-elected him, and it became obvious: America wants to die. Too many Americans want America to become a white Christian empire.
