I'm getting a lot of new followers, but very little interaction.

So I just wanna put this out there, I don't auto follow back & don't care about how many followers I have. I'm here to interact with people.

If you're not & you're just hoping for a follow back to boost your number, I'm not the one.

Hey a thing I really don’t want to get lost here is that while Tylenol doesn’t cause autism, IT’S FINE TO BE AUTISTIC. Let’s not grant them the premise that autism should be eradicated in our way to correct the science, okay? Okay.

My friends, we are so far past the slippery slope, we are trapped in a ravine at the bottom. I can't even see the slippery slope from all the way down here.

Sen. Bill Cassidy: HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. expected you to change the childhood vaccine schedule, despite a lack of science or data to support that move?

Former CDC Director Susan Monarez: "Correct."

I really, REALLY wish people would internalize the absolute stranglehold voter suppression and gerrymandering have over many red states with high BIPOC populations (who reliably vote blue) before consistently writing off these entire states and saying shit like “they deserved it”.

the biggest thing i hope studios take away from the success of Sinners and K-Pop Demon Hunters is that, wow, audiences actually DO like and want original stories and don't need every goddamn movie to be a sequel or reboot

Young people SHOULD “have it easier” than you did. I’m sorry you got the strap up hill both ways and paid your debts with pounds of flesh, but the reason we work for progress is to make growing up and growing old gentler, easier, kinder, freer. Struggle isn’t necessary in a healthy society.

when i used to grade undergrads and one of them proclaimed that some classic of literature "failed" to do X or Y i used to circle it and say "is that what it set out to do?" and i think a lot of culture critics writing for major verticals could also maybe have done well to receive this note early on

The talk of earnestness and cringe always brings out the worst in me because I really want to verbally backhand anyone who goes, "But will people think I'm cringe?"
Who the fuck cares?? Be yourself. Be into the stuff you're into. Otherwise, you're a passenger in your own life, and that's just sad.
