It also feels very dismissive of people who have had to continue isolating bc ppl saw the “lockdown” as oppressive rather than as a time for mutual protection and time to create new ways of being in this world together idk, it all just sucks

Not to say there wasn’t downsides and economic impact. But pls be fr. We can just say stay at home orders or quarantine.

The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool.

The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code.

They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

First of all, felons should not be disenfranchised at all, full stop, second of all, it is wild to have restoration of voting rights contingent on a governor's approval.
Virginia's tough rules for felons to regain their voting rights could soon be changing
Virginia is one of just a few states where only the governor can restore voting rights for people with felony convictions. But Virginia's rules may soon be changing.

Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Because of the ice raids, I haven’t been able to find a caregiver through medicaid since June. For three days a week I have to hire one from a company, and it cost $39.50 an hour. I owe $898 from my last bill and I’m struggling. If youd like to donate I would appreciate it ❤️
