Because it’s not really about trying to get troops to vote Republican-that would be bad enough. It’s about conditioning the military to obey a man and not their oath to the Constitution. It’s why Hegseth & Trump were so adamant about prosecuting the 6 Dems who spoke up about it.

I realize media doesn’t think it’s a big deal that Trump, Vance & Hegseth continue to give partisan political speeches to troops, evidenced by the fact that they are never asked about it nor are members of Congress, but it is one of the most dangerous things happening right now.

Until/unless we see reports of 6-1 CAV scrambling its attack rotary wings &/or the 1st Armored DIV drones going up from Biggs Army Airfield, let alone a combat air patrol being scrambled, a cartel drone incursion doesn't seem likely. The US military response would've been observable.
Hegseth is claiming a "cartel drone incursion" occurred. But he also claims the restrictions have all been lifted, and the one out west in NM is still there. I can't put much trust in that explanation yet.

there are two things about this, one is that there is no prime minister of switzerland, he's talking about the president of the swiss confederation, which is a different thing entirely, and, two, i'm not sure you could make a more persuasive case to SCOTUS for nuking tariffs than this one
