The fact that Geno is still living rent free in your head, let alone that I am, is a sure sign you need to get something going in your life.
We're losing stupid right now. Infuriating.
@sportingnews.com Tell your Billy Heyen to do a little background before publishing ultra-brief pieces that offer commentary. Appalling, he writes, for a player to see red after being beaned five times in 15 PAs, three by the same pitcher, who has also beaned him before. How dare he!
No, you're just an asshole. My nationality didn't stop you from thinking, "you know what, maybe I'm just out of the loop" before you demanded that somebody else fill you in.
If you know literally the first thing about the war on Gaza, you know that these atrocities are happening because Netanyahu needs to retain power to stay out of prison, so he replaced his government with far right, ultrareligious lunatics and started a total war to distract the populace.
Ignorant, insufferable, and nationalist. I called you a smug moron when you first tried to make it about the print edition. All you ever had to do was wonder, maybe just for a second, if the thousands of people who obviously understood the context might have read it in the news.
The lesson you *should* take away from this truly bizarre exchange, but I'm sure you won't, is that, usually, if thousands of people are talking about something on the internet, and you're out of the loop, you should check the fucking newspaper before you get on their case.
I haven't. You're just not quite literate enough to have caught my insulting reply. Which doesn't surprise me. In case it isn't obvious, the only reason I didn't block you at "entitled Americans" is because I don't like the way the nuclear block removes... wait for it... the context.
It's almost like a human being is capable of retaining two separate but related ideas without their head exploding!
I am well past believing you've ever held one of those in your life.
So you've decided to go with "smug moron." Fair enough. The important bit of info you failed to learn from the article you seem not to have read is that, in the US, we have a Bureau of Labor Statistics. It produces a job report, monthly, as indicated by the person you initially bothered.
Let me make extra sure you have all the information. The Guardian is a newspaper produced out of London. It offers editions for several English-speaking countries, but its primary edition is the British edition. It is available at your favorite newsstand, by subscription, or online.
Do you just, like, refuse to engage with print journalism, or is it that you read the Daily Mail? What is the disconnect here?
Motherfucker how many times do I have to remind you that it was on the front page of the UK EDITION of the Guardian before it gets through your skull?
I'm saying it's utterly absurd to get pissy when people talk about current events on bsky. You can't possibly expect every post on a microblog site to offer context for those who are out of the loop. But I *can* rationally expect you to open a newspaper once per morning and peruse the headlines.
Way to double down. I repeat, it's on the front page of the *UK edition* of the Guardian. We can't be responsible for whether you read the paper.
I meant the original post referring to a "he" for whom fraud is "his whole thing," in context with the headlines of the day. This isn't a "please remember the internet is international" situation, this is just a Brit who hadn't checked the newspapers lazily taking it out on some Americans who had
Context clues. Plus, it's even currently on the front page of the UK edition of the Guardian.
Pick any American paper of record, go to its web site, and read the front page article about Trump firing a statistician for reporting numbers he doesn't like. You will inadvertently learn why none of us on this side of the pond feel the need to explain what this jobs report is.
And then you go through my posts to see if I'm talking about the right issues to, what, earn the right to call you on weird interpersonal awfulness? You're trying way too hard to be the arbiter of queerdom.
Misogyny has nothing to do with it. Policing how other people experience the world is outright terrible, suggesting that somebody "sounds like a cis person" is terrible on many levels, and then when you found out he's a trans man, you posted like that invalidates him. I'm misogynistic cuz I noticed?
They give him half the gate because he owns a 50% stake in the subsidiary that owns the lots. It was his last diabolical maneuver. Man ain't in the baseball business, he's in the real estate business 😠

(Not that I would be at all surprised to discover the Dodgers are collaborating)
The stadium, or the parking lot? Because they own the stadium, but they rent the parking lot from the shitbag who used to own the team, and he's exactly who you'd think he'd be.
If you think advocacy means policing how other queer people experience or engage with the world, congratulations, you're part of the problem.
Like, first you wanna No True Scotsman other queer people, which is destructive at both ends, because obviously shitty queer people exist but also you don't dictate how other people think or act. And then you make it about gender.
