Non-zero chance it would open some kind of hell gate
Regardless of intent, actions like this are an argument for dissolution of the union.
Trump is upfront in saying he will use the shutdown to punish Democrats, and here are the receipts. About $27.2 billion cut from Dem districts compared to about $0.7 billion in GOP districts.
We all complain about the media, but need this type of in-depth journalism.

Yeah keep the shutdown going forever. Not paying for this
Trump: "We're just at the start. We're going to go into other cities that we're not talking about purposely. We're getting ready to go in."
As someone else said on here, if this technology was so great at creating things, its owners would sell us the great things it produces, rather than access to the tech itself.
Ever heard of a e bike user being trapped on the bike as the battery burns its operator to death?
It’s usually not, as least for Bosch ones. Though rear internally geared hubs on those bikes could having shifting disabled if they use an electronic shifter.
Look on the bright side, it will make it easier for a future admin or civil plaintiff to seize Qatari assets.
I’ve lived in ‘burbs in various areas around the country, but the Philly ‘burbs are the only ones where during a game I know I’ve got to keep my windows closed to avoid learning the outcome of a game I might not be watching live.
All truly great fascists get around to it eventually.
That said, they are not a panacea, and they pose a lot of problems that are inherent to cars, not just ICE cars (e.g. they are dangerous, heavy, expensive, and not really compatible with dense, efficient urban environments).
And I guess I should be clear here that I say all this not to knock EVs generally. They are better in most every way than ICE cars (though perhaps not on overall lifecycle maintenance costs, but that's debatable) and are necessary at this moment to address greenhouse emissions.
That’s possible, though I don’t know. I would point out that modularity only addresses faults and not general use degradation over time.
That said, one would hope that eventually batteries either just become more reliable or cheaper to repair failed parts without replacing the whole.
Well, in my case it was just a straight up battery failure. No reason to think the same couldn't happen in an EV battery. If anything the increase in size of the battery for a full EV battery would increase the number of points of failure.
That is inarguably true, though it can be an all-or-nothing proposition with a battery. Individual parts of ICE drivetrains fail, but not all at once typically. I had a plug-in hybrid battery replaced under warranty recently and was told it would have been $12k if I paid out of pocket.
These things get stolen all the time and resold as used. They must have sorted the lock issue.
He's clearly been playing hurt. Seems like it's best to shut him down until after the bye.
I’ve seen Tern Vektrons on marketplace pretty regularly. If buying there be sure to ask for original purchase documents (any bike insurance company would require you to have them even if you bought used). The fraudsters and thieves won’t have those and you can avoid them.
If that’s a penalty it’s one that isn’t called 95% of the time.
First game this year where it does feel like the refs are out to make them lose
Fact dependent, though it doesn’t prevent indictment.
Also happened during a Clemson game
Andy Samberg and Joanna Newsom if only to take a look at that crazy house they bought.
