Why though?
This gap is just to ensure that the project gets done late and over budget.

If you’re media covering bike-lanes, watch this news story.

If you’re a downtown business association discussing bike-lanes, watch this news story.

If you’re anyone hearing the LIE that bike-lanes are bad for business, watch this story.

And please SHARE THIS STORY so others can watch it too.
WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you HAVE TO WATCH this news story. You actually can’t make this up. Ford claims without evidence that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.
Annex businesses tell Ford to back off Bloor bike lanes
Stores in the Annex say the Bloor bike lanes have been a big boost to business. As Michelle Mackey reports, the neighborhood's BIA wants the province to back off its new bill that could see the lanes ...

So this Tim Houston “it’s come to my attention” statement on Poppies in Courtrooms did happen…. In Saskatchewan, but nowhere in his statement does he disclose this leading it to be manipulatively framed as if it happened in Nova Scotia, scoring him cheap political points.

If Tim Houston is so concerned about democracy, he’d sit in the legislature for more than eight days, wouldn’t override decisions of Halifax regional council, would talk with reporters, and wouldn’t consider giving part of a provincial park to a private developer for a golf course.

Pretty proud of this yiga clan footsoldier costume I made for my kid, especially the mask, which has very good visibility (video in next post). IYDK, they're some of the bad guys from the newer Legend of Zelda games.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

I'm by no means a programmer, most of what I make are fancy spreadsheets but I will gladly spend hours automating minutes-long tasks if I have to do them repeatedly. More so when I make them as tools or templates for others to use. Even wth the constant tweaking, learning is fun.
I maintain that this is generally worthwhile for a few reasons:
1. You will almost always have to do this reformatting again, life is just like that
2. You will probably learn something from writing the code
3. Coding is fun, reformatting text by hand sucks

I just applied to be my boss's boss. Feels weird, but it's a role that I could absolutely handle that I'm qualified for. My current position is ok, but not nearly challenging enough, so I'm channeling the confidence of a mediocre white dude and throwing my hat in the ring.

The housing crisis has defined people's lives - they've deferred university, turned down job offers and delayed having families because they can't afford the housing they need.

But the real tragedy here is that investors who bought at the top of a bubble might make less money.
