Fox News tries harder and harder to appeal to a dwindling, fading audience of absolute dipshits in nursing homes and the Oval Office. Eventually they'll shrink into nothing but an irrelevant, irritating, angry yappy chihuahua of media.

One perfect pure minute of Murica.
While LCRW gives live updates from the Kirk memorial, I’ll be giving updates from outside. Follow along for both (if you care lol).

This sums up the energy outside — lots of trash, lots of bad merch, medical emergencies everywhere you look. Also content warning because the bigots are out in force.

As end-of-empire scenarios go it is so much more dignified to get your capital city sacked by the Visigoths than to have a bunch of illiterate rich people in their 70s doing it through a series of incomprehensible tantrums because their brains were defeated by their phones.

/2 Trump appeals to people for a reason: because they’re shitty people with shitty values from a shitty culture. When he’s a nasty, bullying, bigoted thug that appeals to them because those are their values. I’m not going to try to be more thuggy or bigoted or bullying to find common ground.

Yeah my job is pretty cool. My uniform is a tactical vest that’s two sizes too small and a gaiter I bought in a gas station. They send me to sneak into schools to kidnap little kids because people got mad about having to press 1 for English. The president had to warn everyone to stop spitting on me.

It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.
