5yo me got to visit a medieval German castle, growing up in Europe as an Aussie expat, which had a DUNGEON.
The dungeon quite specifically blew my little mind, because it was such a strong example of how different life could be in the past.
Decided on the spot I was going to be an archaeologist.

Diving boys Halloween thoughts earlier- Stede doing his last circuit of the closed aquatic centre for the night, pausing at the door to the diving pool because the whole thing is glowing an eerie blue for some reason.
Also, there’s— steam? coming off it.

I think we may be cursed, actually 🙃 Brain injury survivor mum just had to be whisked off to the ER tonight after whacking her head again earlier in the week- a concussion rather than another bleed, thankfully, but I’m about to bubble wrap her going forward 🫠
