I've seen kids graduate with 80 days unexcused absence. Laws are being flouted and as long as parents don't sue there's no consequence

Public schools have every incentive to just warehouse kids and push them out the door because there's no consequences for anything anymore, for kids or for admins. Grades are fake, credits are fake, you don't know if that A was 200 days of excellence or 4 hours of cheating, HS diplomas are worthless
