I'm really happy I have Lego Soundwave. But with the massive discounts he's getting for Black Friday, I'm a bit miffed I didn't wait three months, to be honest.

If you ever wonder why people say "slippery as an eel" I can confirm that one time we had to hold an eel for a vet to do a blood draw and that eel ended up on the floor 47 times out of 48 attempts

A new Carry On film but set in the Sixties and with top actors playing the original cast playing the new characters, like We're Doomed: The Dad's Army story. I imagine you would get to see Sydney Sweeney's bare bottom at one, particularly comical, moment. Should you like that sort of thing.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Scarlet Johansson is Sara Kingdom
Pedro Pascal is Steven Taylor
Ella Purnell is Katarina
Uncle Roger IS Mavic Chen

And introducing Tamsin Grieg as DOCTOR WHO

With Johnny Vegas as The Meddling Monk

Dr Who & The Dalek Master Plan

Not coming soon. Sadly.

A colourful, cut down remake of Doctor Who: The Chase with David Tennant as Peter Cushing as Dr Who, ably assisted by Jack Davenport as Ian, Phoebe Waller Bridge as Barbara and Maisie Williams as Vicki. There would be a red Dalek and the Mechanoids would be more robotic Octopi.

one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

I have a new phone. I wasn't going to, but there was an irresistible Black Friday offer with Odido and my current phone now takes forever and a day to take photos or work for contactless payments sometimes, and the battery life has plummeted. Sticking with Oppo, because more bang for my buck...

To any one disappointed that there wasn't a big announcement for #DoctorWhoDay please remember it's only the 62nd anniversary and that just isn't that much of a milestone compared to 50 or 60 years, honestly the next big one will be the 70th and we have a while before then 😒. #DoctorWho

Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang is the sort of Doctor Who I like and want more of. Ludicrously complicated and weird but very very clever and does make sense. Possibly Ghost Light levels of needing to pay attention, but by gum it works.

Someone asking on the Suede group if Suede gets mentioned in Doctor Who at any point - feel like there's a New Adventure chapter title somewhere that does, but help a faulty memory out here. Any Suede references? There are definitely creatives who are fans...

I think people are still feeling the hangover of the 60th. 62 isn't a significant number. The album and the Terrance Dicks archive are nice enough but it's *Sunday*. Big things don't tend to be announced on Sundays. I'm sadly giving up on my "Film is Fabulous have found something already" theory
The lack of anything interesting for Doctor Who day shouldn't really be a surprise at this point

The agreed Doctor Who watch for the anniversary has been agreed. We have agreed upon The Pandorica Opens. Most agreeable.
