Republicans have many priorities currently ranking higher than feeding the hungry, among them: building a White House ballroom, keeping us from determining whether President Trump is a pedophile, blowing up people in boats, banning Tylenol and rehabilitating Confederate generals.

It's easy to doom all the time now, particularly if you're hardwired that way. Getting your hands dirty and dropping the screens helps. Getting smacked in the face with a wall of feedback also helps.

None of these Democrats should enjoy a moment's peace.

Cortez Masto (NV)
Durbin (IL)
Fetterman (PA)
Gillibrand (NY)
Hassan (NH)
Peters (MI)
Schatz (HI)
Schumer (NY)
Shaheen (NH)

They've effectively just voted for Donald Trump's agenda without putting up a fight. Never let them hear the end of it.

Truly a mystery why the Democratic Party polls worse than chlamydia.
Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Democrats are the Cleveland Browns of political parties. This is like somehow losing to a New York Jets team led by Justin Fields attempting 11 passes. Institutionalized loserdom.

In retrospect, Fox really nailed the depiction of establishment Dems with Colmes - willing to be a punching bag for the right, openly cowardly, all while basically agreeing with the right's core ideas.

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.

Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.
So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

Have R senators? (Like me?) Call Schumer’s office to tell him you will never donate to another D senate campaign again as long as he’s Senate leader. Tell him this deal is a shameful joke and a betrayal.

I just did this and if nothing else it was cathartic. I said I would make it my life’s mission to make sure there’s a primary challenger for any D involved in this deal, it’s fucking embarrassing.
So, listen, call Schumer’s office no matter where you live, no matter if you’re registered to vote. Leave a voicemail that says if Senate Dems cave without an ACA premiums fix, you will never vote for or donate to another Senate Democrat as long as he is Leader

Oh look: the Missouri Secretary of State apparently went to the Frank LaRose School of Deceptive Ballot Proposals.
NEW: Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins (R) proposed deeply biased ballot language for a citizen-led referendum to block the state’s new GOP-led congressional gerrymander, marking the latest Republican effort to stymie the measure.

November 2, 2025 at 1:35 PM
There’s going to come a day — I don’t know when but hope it’s during my lifetime — when Les Wexner’s name is ripped from every building it’s on, and Ohio State and everyone else who has accepted his money is forced to publicly atone for their association with him.
