The Chancellor says she 'fixed' a problem caused by “some snails or something”.

Comments like this pit nature against growth – it’s the wrong target.

Here, the system has worked: protecting one of UK’s rarest species while allowing 20,000 homes to proceed.

Was struggling with this but then I realised I had seen it once in the New Forest in the 1990s! Southern Chestnut (I think!) - good for Southampton #teammoth

We are nature. Its best interests are our best interests. So it's pretty dim of our chancellor to again pit wildlife against people, boasting of 20,000 homes built despite "some snails" that "are a protected species or something". www.theguardian.com/environment/... Unsavoury lobbying here too.

“I’ll put it bluntly, Robert is wrong… it’s actually a very integrated place... Not the definition of a slum.”

The world has lost its most powerful advocate for nature and hope. Yet many remain who will continue her legacy and I know she will continue to inspire generations more.

Nigel Farage & Alex Phillips have been awfully quiet about Nathan Gill pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery relating to pro-Russia statements made in European parliament and articles.

Just wanted to refresh their memories about how they were all a team through that period.
