Not for the first time a deiver has shown complete contempt for other road users.

Vehicles left like this should be removed from their owners possession.

If any policymakers or campaigners in Ireland want to discuss the evidence base for these policies I'm happy to talk
“It’s like telling a person who is struggling with their heating bill to put on an extra jumper”

Plans to make cycling without a helmet or reflective clothing a criminal offence branded “performative policymaking” which “shifts responsibility away from those operating the most dangerous vehicles”
‘Over-reaction based on vibes’: Are mandatory helmet and hi-vis laws for cyclists set to be introduced in Ireland?

According to recorded figures, Israel has slaughtered every single member of 2,700 families, with over 6,000 families left with just a single sole survivor.

And of course the actual death toll is far higher.

Well, in other very insignificant news, I bought a new to me (second hand) CD player.

There's nothing wrong with the one I have. For some reason I got fixated on getting the one to match my amp.

Trouble is, the one I have matches my streamer.

So I might keep both.

I don't usually promote petitions, but given the tragic events of this week this one seems especially important.

My partner recently began cycling to work, to save £6 a day on the bus. Problem is, it's way faster, so I lost my best time for a cheeky wank as she gets home at nearly the same time as I finish.

I worked the tents at peak pandemic. It was the scariest thing I ever did, and I’m a former firefighter. I saw a lot of people die horribly.

How many people have I seen die from an mRNA vax? Zero. How about die from covid after being vaxxed? Also zero.

Funding NHS facilities with private finance a breach of manifesto, Labour MPs say.

Govt paid £6 for £1 PFI investment. Private equity profiteering from NHS contracts. Public money buys less.

Govt reviving PFI, handing NHS to private equity. Govt can borrow, create money, do QE, tax the rich.

There is a petition going around calling for UK blood bikers to be permitted to uae green flashing beacons.

Futile putting more flashing lights on things in hope drivers will notice.

We need a safety strategy for public highways that raises driving standards, enforcement and improves infra.

My Public Highways Safety Strategy would:

* Outlaw extreme hardship defences against driving bans as a result of totting up 12 penalty points

* Make lifetime driving bans the default for any driver whose negligence is demonstrated to take a life

UK Government's Road Safety Strategy sums up LINO. A lofty ambition backed by soft measures that will barely move the needle, let alone achieve the ambition.

They have carved up the measures in the strategy into such small niches that for the average road user, it is business (or risk) as usual.

Broke my wrist.

Falling out of bed.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.
