In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

This absolutely fucking sucks. Teen Vogue was doing some of the best reporting in the country. Absolutely changing the hearts and minds of people everywhere. And teaching young, impressionable girls absolutely which boys not to date or fuck.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

Honestly, if we're at the point where we can "force" billionaires (and landlords and cops) to do anything, it should be to relinquish all their wealth and property to be equally distributed to the poor masses and then forced into re-education camps where they either accept socialism or get shot
