If you’re not paying attention, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am leaderboard rules, AND this weekend the wind is gonna get spicy. Must-watch tv this weekend.
Folks, the golf is good once again. So sorry to the haters and losers.

Give up on Greenland, sir. It's time we acquire Latvia.

Many people are asking (note: nobody has asked) if I regret this post given that Jordan Binnington shut out the Czechs, and the answer is no, I never never regretted anything I post. Except that time when I said Scottie was absolutely not winning that tournament and then he won by 6.

Hideki is such a good call, he's low owned because nobody wants to go back to him after the playoff loss (and he looked awful with the driver on Sunday but this isn't a driver course). I might play him in my SE.

I changed my mind. I am gonna play Rose. I'm fading Fleetwood.

Yeah weekend looks wild. Thursday and Friday look very calm, looks like you may want people who can get out to a fast start and just hold on.

Oh it definitely was not, almost everyone around here was still picking the Patriots.

To their credit, there was a relatively well known bettor who's on Boston sports talk radio who gave an interview where he said he thought Maye's injury was worse than being reported and he was hammering the Seahawks -- and this guy's usually a big Boston homer.

What a waste of time quoting this. I like golf, man. So do other people on this site. Sorry that doesn’t meet your standards for acceptable behavior. Take your negativity elsewhere. This isn’t Twitter.

Zack Wheeler kept the rib that was removed to correct his thoracic outlet syndrome. It’s in his closet. He is happy with his progress. Orion Kerkering has a Grade 1 hamstring strain. He’ll be a little behind. So will Michael Mercado (shoulder) and Dan Robert (cardiovascular).

Greens are small (and bumpy west-coast Poa), and the weather often plays a role on the coastal track. It's HEAVY with wedges and short irons -- 33 percent of approaches come from 100-150 yards.

All this is to say, take some shots this week. Find your approach merchants and hope they find a putter.
February 11, 2026 at 2:19 PM
I haven't built a player pool yet (I try to wait as long as possible for weather, ownership, etc.) but let's talk about Pebble for a second. It's one of the least predictive courses on Tour because of its high variance -- it's a short, less-than-driver course so it's tough to separate off the tee.
