Thanks for including that! So much about Henriette only covers her adult life but what made her so charming was formed by her early experiences. Margaret Irwin's novel, "Royal Flush", is definitely worth trying to find for its acute portrayal of her difficult younger life!

Well, that's great, but if you don't have a car you can't quote a reg number so you can't book a visit = a facility you pay for but can't use! (Local councillor no help in our case @ B12)

That wonderful colour combination! Just one of the many beauties of St.Pancras (including the trains)!
Day 3 of my working week and it's the 10:31 to Paris again. Some lovely chats with passengers finding out where people are heading. Destinations include Angoulême and Cannes.
