Forecast: Fog. They weren't wrong. Couldn't resist heading out with my camera this morning. It was definitely a day for black and white.

A lot of people joining Bluesky! Welcome! It will take you a minute to get used to the lack of Nazis, but soon you’ll realize that Twitter had normalized you to behavior that should never be normal.

Day 3 of my working week and it's the 10:31 to Paris again. Some lovely chats with passengers finding out where people are heading. Destinations include Angoulême and Cannes.

It's not a Class 45 is it?? Seen once on overbridge at Manchester Picadilly, 80+ hand-printed labels stuck carefully over advert: , "I'd rather eat worms than travel behind a Class 45"

Back on the iron road after a 2 day First Aid refresher. Always makes me smile when we get to the "and next call 999/112" part. It's not as straightforward on our trains. This has to be done via driver/signaller to arrange a suitable location. It could be a station we don't normally stop at.
