Why is the BBC News going live to Nigel Farage's comments on the BBC resignations when they have broadcast nothing from the LibDems, who have more than 14 times as many MPs or the SNP who have almost double? If the BBC wants to stop accusations of bias they should stop actively promoting Reform.

Oh FFS. BBC going live to Farage again. He never misses an opportunity to wheel himself out and spew his usual nonsense. I'm sure the Lib Dems get this much attention with their much larger amount of MPs. Right?... right?

Did I just hear a trail on @lbc.co.uk where Farage was complaining to Nick Ferrari about political bias on the BBC??? He’s never bloody off it! Anyway that Panorama edit on Trumps speech didn’t present anything other than his actual motive and intentions on Jan 6th

The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

He supported Brexit. Failure.

He supported Johnson. Failure.

He supported Truss. Failure.

The worst "betrayal" I can see here is a failing media that constantly platforms this repeat failure of a personality cult leader and never holds him to account.

The BBC is institutionally biased, just not in the way its right-wing critics think. Right-wing Tories, especially Robbie Gibb, control all the key levers of editorial and institutional power.

@R4Today wheels out Nigel Farage for commentary. A man with 5 MPs and 35 councillors who have resigned since May this year. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. So much for unbiased news coverage. The BBC has constantly promoted Farage ever since 2015/16 when the EU Referendum reared its ugly head.

They seem to think that we want to hear what Farage wants to say BEFORE the leader of the third largest party

This is exactly the reason why they are compromised

Absolutely ludicrous that the #BBC thinks the best strategy to deal with yesterday's resignations is to platform Nigel Farage on all news bulletins. Nigel told the BBC not to have any new bosses that would allow any criticism of him. Not really addressing the impartial issue there.

& whilst all this lot were playing musical chairs the ACTUAL Home Secs were:

Theresa May
Amber Rudd
Sajid Javid

What the hell were they doing about prisons for 14 years?
Tory Prison Ministers: 2010-2024:

Crispin Blunt
Jeremy Wright
Andrew Selous
Sam Gyimah
Rory Stewart
Robert Buckland
Lucy Frazer
Alex Chalk
Lucy Frazer
Victoria Atkins
Stewart Andrew
Rob Butler
Damian Hinds
Edward Agar

You ALL bear responsibility for the mess we now have. Fess up now.
Another very pertinent fact that I have not seen mentioned ANYWHERE: In 14 years of Tory rule we had 14 Prisons Ministers - six in a single year, at one point - and a total of 11 Justice Secretaries, including Grayling, Raab, and Truss. In 13 years of Labour it was three: Irvine, Falconer, Straw. 🤔
