Autism is: fine, common, normal
The problem is a world where only some brains are valuable/able to succeed.
If we are concerned about Autism as a "problem," there are real tangible things we could be doing to make the world better for everyone instead of pretending we can prevent neurodiversity.

I fucking hate AI art.

It takes away the pure joy I feel when seeing a piece of art work knowing that a human being has talent to create something so beautiful from mind to hand to materials used.

The best ways to prevent Covid transmission is to wear an N95 respirator or better, ventilate the air, ensure those around you test, etc. Vaccines are a crucial health tool that help prevent severe illness and death *once you're infected*. They're like seatbelts. Which are crucial

Ableism teaches us to abandon each other.

Racism will disable you.
Transphobia will disable you.
Long COVID will disable you.
Genocide will disable you.
Climate change will disable you.

Do not obey when told to abandon the vulnerable.

Resistance & communities must be rooted in disability justice.

if you’re an artist who ever thought “what’s the point? The world is Hell and I should do something that matters instead”

even in an ICE detention center people will treat art as sacred, seek it out, and find joy and comfort in it. You aren’t making art, you’re making hope.

Fucking hell. Millions of folks with Long Covid are already suffering.
HHS's Office of Long COVID Research and Practice has been DOGEd. Closing this week.

Just got Kona’s ashes back from the vet.

I spent a good twenty minutes hugging her box, outside the parking lot. Didn’t care how cold it was. All the fond and somber memories that just raced through my mind— and nothing else really mattered.

I miss you so much, baby potato.

COVID is a novel virus. It’s only been five years, which is nothing in the span of a brand new disease.

We’re learning more & more each day about the long term consequences of repeat infections.

Mask up for yourself, your communities & especially for all the children who can’t protect themselves
As kids get sicker, media ignores scientific papers pointing to immune damage after COVID. Instead, parents are urged to “watch out” for unusual waves of RSV, flu, pneumonia, & more, while masks, clean air and the pandemic are pointedly never mentioned.

Kids keep getting sicker as evidence for COVID immune damage builds
As the press pushes "immunity debt" past the breaking point of believability, are parents ready to wake up to the illness crisis?

In Japan, cedar pollen is dispersed throughout the country when the temperature warms up due to the effect of planting many cedars in the olden days. As a result, many Japanese people go out wearing masks during this time of year.

May I recommend in these Hell Times that you create some sort of “Cheer Up!” folder in your photos:

Fill it with screenshots of nice things people have said about you or your creations!

Fill it with photos of memes that ALWAYS make you crack up, or photos of family that ALWAYS make you smile.
