and this is to say nothing of how concepts like "crime" and "sin" actually boil down to "disobedience to the rightful authority," and as long as the authority in question (god, the state, police, judge, priest, father etc) determines no disobedience has occurred, then no crime has occurred.

it's a mistake to use framing in which "sex = good, no sex = bad," because this is also framing that benefits rape culture. sex is neutral, it is not even really one definable "thing" but a cluster of social and interpersonal practices of desire, bodily interaction, and yes sometimes power

Cooking a meal costs me maybe $5 if I need to run to the store to grab fresh veggies I'm lacking. Everything else I need was probably acquired 6 months ago in a random $100 grocery trip for spices, oils, pastes, flours, etc. Cooking is not actually expensive
Whenever I see discourse about groceries v/s eating out and I hear people say "cooking myself a meal costs $60" I have to tear my hair out

anyway, more and more i feel like that weird sort of discomfort i had around white dudes growing up who were unhealthily into anime was a beneficial adaptation

I like that "I can't pick and choose which oppression 'matters most', I experience the totality of all my marginalizations and face compounded burdens in less-marginalized communities" is simple to grasp, and how people who abuse the term 'intersectionality' have spent 30 years refusing to grasp it.
We have to move past the view of intersectionality that goes "Back in the unenlightened past, we thought words meant things. Then, with the invention of Intersections, we all realized that Nothing Means Anything Whatsoever, and solved oppression."
