In addition, IMO it's morally right to charge drivers a lot more because of the adverse effects of current levels of driving - not just potholes and congestion.

People want secure and accessible cycle parking at home or as close to it as they can get. We need many more of these hangers in Bristol.

There is room on public highways to accommodate all users equitably. It just needs a different perspective, imagination and reallocation of public space. Removing just one car storage bay has benefited many more residents who walk or run. @cycledevizes.bsky.social #WiltshireCouncil

Very few Dutch cyclists wear helmets. Yet theirs are among the safest streets on earth. Why?

They understand it’s more beneficial to calm motor traffic, build dedicated infrastructure, and nurture a culture of everyday cycling. Not force the most vulnerable users to armour up.
