I don't regret this chapter, I'm much better for the events of it, but I am angry that one man's insanity caused it to close on such a negative note. In the end, I had to intentionally choose to sever my last bit of association with him and what he stands for, and move on. 17/17

I thought you should know that in 2024 New Jersey, Minnesota, Illinois, California, and Maryland have all enacted legislation that bans book bans & censorship in both, school and public libraries, and protects librarians.

N.J. just struck a blow against banning books
It's called the "Freedom to Read Act."

Have you heard the good news?

Biden's Department of Energy has awarded $55 billion in funding across 32 deals for clean technology:
Like the $6.6B that went to Rivian to build an EV manufacturing plant.

They're trying to get as much done as possible before Trump gets in.

Biden's Energy Department races to get cleantech money out before Trump takes office
The office helped Tesla get its start and has lent billions to everything from transmission line projects to battery manufacturers. Its future is uncertain under Trump.

This.

Also review follow lists before you hit the button.
In case you were not there in early days of Twitter…

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO BLOCK LISTS.

It sounds like a great shortcut, but malicious actors come in and create lists that include folks from our side.

This was a huge problem in 2017 on Twitter.

Just block trolls as they hit your feed.

Alt govt accounts are back.

And I’m definitely ok with this.
We left X and joined Bluesky because those against our parks said, “If you don’t like it, leave.” So we did. And now they’re saying, “No, come back so we can say mean things to you—it makes us feel important.”

A lot of folks are giving up in advance. Capitulating before a single skirmish.

Well, not this old warrior. I’ve seen much worse from the U.S. government in my day. I’m concerned for our country, but not a bit scared of these miscreants. I’m ready to do my part.

Who’s with me?

Bluesky is wildly different than X.

Search for Tesla and ... wow.

Interesting to see social media through a different lens.
