If you need a reason to stop buying games from @alderaceg.bsky.social , here it is.

COO Ryan Dancey thinks so little of designers that he belives AIs could produce games just as good as AEG releases such as Tiny Towns or Cubitos. And he doesn't bother questioning the ethics of that plagiarism.
Reposting with ALT because this kind of phenomenal disdain and disrespect from within the industry literally against two of their own titles and the designer who made them is important to recognize.

FOI reveals the EHRC holds zero minutes of meetings with trans-led organisations in the past 5 years.

This is the UK’s 'equality' regulator.

Trans voices are not important enough for the EHRC to keep a record of what was said. This should be a headline in all the papers.

Running cbr+pnk for some locals. Made a little poster for the local discord to promote the game. Fairly proud of it

The first proof that Hannibal’s War Elephants existed.
Ancient bone found in Spain could be from Hannibal's war elephants
It would be the first hard evidence that elephants were used in battle by General Hannibal.

I love SMALL PROPHETS and I am fond of Jerome K Jerome so I was delighted to see the bucket routine in ep 2 which is surely a distant descendant of the shoe shop scene in THREE MEN ON THE BUMMEL

This is something the Nazis used to do to Jewish children in the camps. It happened to a man I knew when he was a child in Auschwitz. The camp guards thought it was funny as hell.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

So much dark in the work, and “grimdark” being flavour of the decade, that I like some light now and again

So it is irksome where a series I was watching, with a general storyline of trying to recover some hope from a bad situation, decided it needed to ramp up the grimdark early

Ach well

In incredible news, the European Parliament has voted overwhelmingly for "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women."

Even the center-right European People's Party voted for the declaration.

It will form a foundation for their position at the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

Our latest.
European Parliament Votes Overwhelmingly For "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women"
The resolution, though nonbinding, is a significant shot at those who seek to erode transgender rights on the continent.

The court once again hammering home that they really don't accept the idea that is a peaceful or non-violent group.

This is significant *because they've found in PA's favour*. It is hard to say they're a bunch of kumbayah singing lentil weavers, if you read the judgment.

Many good points caught here by the estimable @jamesrball.com

The judgment was an impressive win for the claimant, but the court was certainly *not* impressed by Palestine Action.
Significant that the High Court ruling is still, in places, quite damning of Palestine Action. It emphatically rejects that the group is engaged in "civil disobediance", for example.

It just finds (compellingly) that proscription was still wrong, despite that.
