Fox News: People should be fired if they didn’t properly grieve the murder of Charlie Kirk

Also Fox News: We pay Brian Kilmeade lots of money because he’s brave enough to call for homeless people to be murdered
Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."

Elon Musk is not right about the fragility of our planet. RFK is not right about eating healthy foods. These concepts long preceded their malignant presence in the national discourse, and crediting them for being right about them is like crediting Jeffrey Dahmer for being right about the sum of 2+2.

Harvey Milk served his country honorably — first in uniform, then in public office.

Taking his name off this Navy ship sends a clear message, and it’s one of disrespect and cruelty.

Covering the courts for nearly two decades, I've never seen a federal judge tell the government in exclamation-point-punctuating exasperation that an executive order violates the vision of the Framers.
Another federal judge STRIKES DOWN Trump's order targeting a law firm for political retribution — this time, using exclamation marks twice in the introduction to emphasize that the executive order is against the Founding Fathers' vision.

It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

Slightly more seriously. It's crazy how the entire supposed constitutional theory of Trump 2.0 is that all power is vested in this single individual, down to every last tiny detail and whenever you ask him he's like "I have no idea; ask the lawyers"

just so we’re all clear: the reason they keep using dolls as their example is because they’re trying to frame caring about material stuff as feminine and thus inherently shameful
Bessent says that little girls who are sad about having fewer dolls should just have it explained to them that they will have a better life for it

A mere eleven months ago, the mental acuity & fitness of Elderly American Presidents was The Defining Issue Of Our Political Age. But we don't hold both parties to the same standards for some reason.
If Joe Biden said this kind of word salad on "Meet The Press," I imagine it would be a major story. And this is one of his more coherent responses in an interview transcript that has to be read to be believed. (Link to complete interview in next post.)/1

The president says a third term is "not something I'm looking to do," and the U.S. economy is in a "transition period."

Never.

Remember those piece of shit private security guards who violently dragged a woman out of a GOP town hall in Idaho back in February? They’ve finally been charged.

The plainclothes guards were involved in the forcible removal of a woman from a meeting hosted by local Republicans in Coeur d’Alene, prosecutors said.

In a way the tone is almost as frightening as the substance. The dissent writes like it understands the stakes, and what kind of regime we're on the precipice of becoming. The majority writes like it's hearing a case about whether rollerblades can be taxed as vehicles.
#BREAKING: 5-4 Court, with Barrett joining the three Dem. appointees in dissent *vacates* Chief Judge Boasberg’s temporary restraining orders in the Alien Enemy Act cases. Judicial review must be available, Court holds, but has to come through habeas petitions:

Sadly, I think this is legitimately the level of understanding most Trump supporters seem to have.

🇺🇸 doesn’t make the small cars 🇪🇺 & 🇯🇵 drive because of international specialization & all the other policies (gas/other taxes, public transportation networks, urban design, etc.) make it silly to buy Ford F-150s, Chevrolet Silverados, & GMC Sierras.

The willful hate within this administration is vile.
Upon learning that your own mistake sent an innocent father to a brutal prison where he’s likely to be tortured, anyone with a shred of decency would be overcome with shame and fight like hell to get him back.

They think it’s funny.

This is the type of language spoken by a predator and an abuser.
Bessent: "One of the messages that I'd like to get out tonight is everybody sit back, take a deep breath, don't immediately retaliate, let's see where this goes. Because if you retaliate, that's how we get escalation."
