I'm glad that Democrats are picking up this narrative. This actually is a simple conflict between good and evil. Those don't exist all that often in real life so it can be hard to believe they're possible, but if putting children in concentration camps doesn't sound evil to you, its cuz you're evil.

Prisons are for people who've been CONVICTED of crimes.

Most people in these warehouses - without proper food or sanitation or worse - haven't even been CHARGED with crimes.

And thousands are CHILDREN.

This will be another of America's greatest shames.

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

We are deciding right now whether we want to be a country with ethnic cleansing and concentration camps.
The banality of evil is shocking. An ex-Big Lots warehouse for cheap consumer junk is bought by ICE to ship as many as 7,500 handcuffed human beings, as the Trump regime builds a U.S. gulag archipelago

Yeah one mildly comforting thing is that the most incompetent people in history are trying to replicate Nazi Germany, but Germany is roughly half the size of Texas
Look, if they do this, it's bad.

But also, the math doesn't entire math for me. Cook County alone has ~3,000 voting precincts, and some must have multiple polling stations.

There are ~4,000 armed ICE agents in US. More CBP (who are lumped in w this, prob). But even if we get to 20,000 armed ppl?
🚨BREAKING: Steve Bannon said Tuesday that the federal government is planning to send Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to patrol polling stations during this year’s midterm elections. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

the $75 million Jeff Bezos set on fire for that Melania propaganda piece could have funded most independent newsrooms for literally decades
always bears repeating that this is NOT a financial decision. jeff bezos is worth over 250 billion dollars. he can afford to lose many millions and never even notice it. this is, at its core, a political and personal decision by bezos to destroy the post
WASHINGTON (AP) — Washington Post says one-third of its staff across all departments, not just the newsroom, is being laid off.

I am big on coaching students re: better mental health strategies but I hope this woman never sleeps again. Everyone's gotta eat, sure, but anyone can make money with a law license and I am not kidding when I say I'd shovel monkey shit at the zoo before working for DHS.
The DOJ is clearly hitting some capacity constraints if its lawyers are … um … asking to be held in contempt in order to get sleep.
