“So long as I have five dollars in my pocket and some spaghetti, I’m all right” - Fiorello LaGuardia

Long Island -> Florida -> Bronx -> Brooklyn
The league holds a lot of power here. They don’t have to answer for things.

I don’t think enough fans care (yet), I don’t think the union is doing enough to clarify demands or tell the stories of the humans affected, and I’m unsure the players will be able to unify enough to make this happen
As the USL enters a new era—launching Division One and inching toward promotion and relegation—its relationship with the players driving that growth has become its most visible tension. A routine CBA negotiation has spilled into stadiums, supporter sections, and the USL Championship Final itself.

Rich Upper East Side DINO who is trying to tank Zohran is about to be NYC Council Speaker.

Zohran winning alone is not going to save this city when there are so many godawful “Democrats” who have no interest in changing the status quo at all.

We need to get rid of all of these ghouls.

We have a lot of thoughts on this.

The biggest one is that if you support the players on the pitch when they’re putting their bodies on the line (without health insurance depending on the club) support them as people off the pitch. Improving conditions off the pitch will improve the league.

Since Z's election, I've been thinking about NYC's political ecosystem and the path of the Left's struggle for governing power over the past two decades.

We're in a moment where the Left's configuration of both protagonists and formations is changing; here are my current thoughts on this change.🧵

One of the immediate term things our country needs to do is prosecute those involved in this administrations crimes as soon as possible. Amnesty to “heal” and “move forward” only allows the infections to spread.
There was a time when the United States looked down its nose at the countries in South America for being lawless banana republics. Who's the banana republic now, bitches?

The stock market's gains are being overwhelmingly driven by seven Big Tech companies who have invested heavily in AI, which has made tech oligarchs even wealthier.

But when that AI bubble bursts, the rest of us will be stuck holding the bag.

Be warned.

Again. If I were a candidate for Congress heading into the midterms, my platform would be abolishing ICE, Prosecuting everyone involved in these crimes and other abuses, and pushing for constitutional amendments to address institutional issues
ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

This is called “chain refoulment” and it’s illegal under both U.S. and international law. And the State Department and ICE know very well what Ghana is doing and simply don’t care.

I have a lot of opinions, but mostly please just vote for Mike Blake. Ritchie Torres does not deserve to represent the Bronx. Enriching yourself while pretending to care about the people in the poorest congressional district in the nation is disgusting.
New Yorkers will vote next June in a primary election to determine who appears on the November ballot to represent them in Congress.

Here's who jumping in the races:

Open seats, established incumbents and progressive bids, New York’s June congressional primary could reshape the national political landscape.

This is hilariously bullshit.

There’s something so infuriating about this moment and it’s brazen corruption. I really don’t think I can watch this World Cup and it sucks. I love this sport. I want to watch the elite players represent their nations, but it’s impossible to justify at this point
Cristiano Ronaldo has avoided a suspension for the start of next summer’s World Cup after FIFA handed the Portugal captain a three-match ban, with the final two games suspended for “a one-year probation period”.

If I were to run for Congress, one of the first things I’d be running on is Abolishing ICE and prosecuting the agents that are doing shit like this.

We can’t fail the next reconstruction like we have in the past.
ICE kidnapped a 17-year-old U.S. citizen named Christian Jimenez. Jimenez, a high school senior born in Newberg, Oregon, was driving on his school’s lunch break when ICE/CBP agents stopped his car, smashed his window, and abducted him on November 21, 2025.

This is heartbreakingly cruel and hypocritical. The same admin that has redefined refugee status to cover white South Africans is now going to drown thousands of refugees already approved for their status in red tape, potentially even seeking to strip some of their status and deport them.
