So... if it requires an Act of Parliament to remove a peerage, here's an idea: make the Bill for the removal of Peter Mandelson's and Michelle Mone's seats in the Lords and titles. Two birds, one stone and all that.

One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office.

Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

Yesterday I was in a room packed full of MPs imploring govt to rethink its proposed changes to ILR rules for migrants

Govt is planning to make unfair retrospective changes that are racist & classist

These would devastate the lives of many who have made this country their home

Trump’s version of “ending a war”….whilst still sending armoury to Israel.
Videos from Gaza show huge explosions as Israeli air attacks hit a building in Gaza City and tents in al-Mawasi.

Gaza’s Government Media Office says more than 500 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since a US-brokered ceasefire came into effect on October 10.

Reform picks anti-migrant activist Matt Goodwin as its candidate for the Gorton and Denton by-election.

A reminder that just a few months ago the BBC invited him onto Question Time as a supposedly independent "author and academic"

it is not an "immigration crackdown". They have assaulted and kidnapped too many people who haven't broken any laws, immigration-related or otherwise, for you to call it that. It's a campaign of racist and ideological intimidation and terror.

Farage and Badenoch have both said they want to see armed deportation squads roaming the streets of Britain.

Their Trump-worship is not just performative - it threatens to bring his violence to communities across the UK

Do yourself a favour and try a bit of bloom-scrolling - these different iris varieties are gorgeous (though I'm a sucker for the dark blue ones ) ...
Named after Iris, the Greek goddess associated with the rainbow, the iris has long been valued for its colours and form. These qualities inspired its use in medieval manuscripts, early herbals and botanical illustration, where colour and structure were studied. #FolkloreSunday

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

Someone who has committed as much outright legally established fraud as the president really shouldn’t speak about fraud.

Also: fraud does not justify a death sentence otherwise he’d be 6 feet under by now

That’s not even close to an apology. And besides, Denmark lost more people per head of the population than *any* other country in Afghanistan. The obviousness of his contempt for crucial alliances matches the obviousness of his contempt for the truth.

Scary thoughts ... but necessary to remember that Trump is only a chapter, not the whole book
When Trump dies we get Vance. Thiel’s pet.

They'll blame a lot of stuff on Trump AND try to fast-track an even uglier white supremacist techno-Christofascism.

We must prept for this now & organize accordingly.

Strange.

Almost like the two things are connected.
