Charlotte, though?

Also all but two of these are driving cities and you could get little argument from me that Boston is a driving city pretending to be a transit city.

Conclusion: Americans are weird. Or perhaps they're normal and I'm weird! Who can say?

Universal is finally (FINALLY!) putting the complete discography of Let's Active on digital music apps this week. I spoke to frontman Mitch Easter about how it came together, and what fans can expect from his set of songs from the band this weekend in Winston-Salem, NC.
A Second Disc Interview: Let's Revisit Let's Active with Mitch Easter - The Second Disc
"Making records is a really good idea," Mitch Easter says, partway through a chat with The Second Disc. He's, of course, absolutely correct, and he would know. The Winston-Salem, North Carolina native...

The best thing I learned from Macaulay Culkin at last night’s Home Alone screening is that his 4yo son loves the movie, thinks of himself as Kevin, and has no idea that that’s his dad. Culkin is attempting to hide that fact for as long as possible

Should I tell the sales associate or the physical therapist I'd need to see afterward?
when trying on pants, do this in the store. then tell the sales associate "the menswear guy told me to do this."

I only go into the Cleveland Park CVS to pick up prescriptions. That's it. I tried to buy some toilet paper there a few weeks back; it was locked up with no-one on the sales floor to unlock it for me. Walked to the Streets Market half a block away and bought toilet paper. 🤷

Only tangentially-related, but how many of these tools do you think actually wore masks during the peak part of the pandemic?
An ICE agent was caught removing a sign marking an ICE kidnapping in DC last week! Do we think he did it out of anger, embarrassment, or most appropriately shame? If you think what you’re doing is right, why are you trying to hide the evidence? 👀

In 2008 the then-wife's parents decided I was personally responsible for the Black guy getting elected so we were on our own. Cut to 18 people gathered around a table belting out "Don't Look Back in Anger" at the top of our lungs at 3am. We called it the Thanksgiving of Misfit Toys.
Actually in the spirit of this conversation, what’s a decision you made about a past Thanksgiving holiday that really paid off? I think people often feel trapped by their lives. Sharing our experiences can liberate us from that sense of claustrophobia.
On the most recent episode of VIBE CHECK, we answer listener questions about Thanksgiving, most importantly “do you go celebrate with the family members you don’t even like?”

It's interesting. Throughout history there must be a few other examples of this sort of thing--the river changes course and floods the city; the blight takes out the olive groves, what have ya--but it's really odd to see it happening to a world capital of almost 9 million people.
