I’ve said this before but non-LLM AI is already having a significant impact on things like drug discovery, medical research, imaging, and clinical practice. And it’s not as a magic genie but as a guide that cuts down the problem space and tells humans where to look.

I like this guy’s vibe. The interview doesn’t say much, but I appreciate the realism that the next high impact areas for AI aren’t chatbot/LLM related but in industrial applications. This seems right to me.
